Hi all,
Right now my main question is whether the Asa B. KERBY I have found in
Missouri
is the very same Asa B. KERBY, my ancestor in Oregon!!! The only "evidence" I
have so far is same initial, same approx birth year and state, counties in
general same area, and the MO Asa KERBY disappeared after about age 17, at
least from the people I have been able to find on the Kerby/Kirby list. This
could mean he went to Oregon, or it could mean a great many other things!!
I have now found a BUNCH of into tracing this Kerby line back and back,
however, it's all a moot point if "my" Asa isn't "this" Asa!!! And, I
had
thought Asa was a rather uncommon name. . . . not for this line of Kerby's is
wasn't!!! I think it was a family rule that every Kerby had to name at least
one of their boys Asa!!
If anyone has any info on what happened to this Asa B. Kerby I would sure
appreciate it!
