1820 we find our WM & Peter in Ohio Co. WVA. Could be they left because of the
death of WM in 1810 or just coincidence.
My name is Mishelle (Kirby) Kmiec. I was wondering if you
by any chance had any information on other Kirby's in Montgomery Va. I am looking
for a Robert and Agnes(Smith) Kirby that had a son George Washington Kirby in Shawsville,
VA on June 8, 1883 . At 17 George left home to move to Kansas. We believe he may
have had brothers by the names of Gordan, Joseph Hampton, John , Charles, and Will.
Robert would be my Great-Great-Grandfather. My grandfather is George's son and he
says that the family back in Virginia was never talked about to much. My grandfather
is now 78 years old and I am trying with all my might to find more information about our
family's connection back in Virginia.
Any help that you might be able to give me would be greatly appreciated.

I would LOVE to be able to connect/find Kirby's in Montgomery County. The
only names I have are Jessee, b. @1825 who married Malvina (Nina). They
had a son, Giles F. Kirby who married Mary A. Smith on Oct. 19, 1875. The
son of Giles and Mary, Thomas H. Kirby, b. 1877 is my great grandfather.
Do any of these dates/names look familiar?
